We recently added rose geranium to the ingredient lineup for our Forever Young Face Puck moisturizer and let me tell you, I am so glad we did. After a couple of days of using our moisturizer with this ingredient, I noticed a firming and toning appearance on my skin.
We initially hesitated in adding this ingredient to our already fabulous moisturizer because many people do not care for the scent of rose geranium. It smells like, well, rose. But I had some in our stock after receiving a free sample from a company that I already purchase from and I researched its properties and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did.
According to research, rose geranium helps with a diverse number of skin issues including inflammations, eczema, broken capillaries, rosacea, dermatitis and it is also used to help prevent the appearance of premature aging. Not only that, rose geranium has been found to reduce the appearance of acne-related issues. It helps to balance sebum, a secretion found in our skin that is a necessary part of protecting our skin's surface and lower epidermal cells. With this balance, rose geranium is effective on all skin types.
Whether you love the scent or not, it's a valuable asset to your skin care regimen and because of this, we will be keeping rose geranium in our moisturizer!
